Adventures in Arizona Archaeology

“ADVENTURES IN ARIZONA ARCHAEOLOGY” PRESENTATION AT MCC

The evolution of Arizona’s Native American tribes and archaeological sites in our state will be the topic of a Coffee at the College event on Feb. 24 at Mohave Community College’s Bullhead City campus.
Greg Edmonson, (member of our club) certified archaeologist, will discuss the evolution of the state’s prehistoric Native American tribes.  Participants will have the opportunity to view artifacts found at local sites and participate in hands-on, problem solving scenarios.  An open discussion focusing on the lifestyles, struggles and daily lives of prehistoric native tribes will follow the presentation.

This free event will take place Thursday Feb 24th from 10 a.m. to noon in Room 210 at 3400 Highway 95, Bullhead City.  For information or to RSVP, contact Natalie Lemire, Community Outreach Specialist at 928.704.7783 or nlemire@mohave.edu.
